No turns. Both players race their piles into the middle.
How to deal
Each player lays out five piles from their half of the deck, one to five cards, with the top card of each face up, and keeps the rest as a spit pile.
How to play
Both players call spit and turn a card from their spit pile into the middle at once. Now, with no turns, each player moves cards from their layout onto either middle pile when the card is one rank higher or lower, turning the next card of an emptied pile face up. When both players are stuck, spit again.
How you win
When a player's layout is empty they slap the smaller middle pile and take it with their remaining cards for the next round. The player who gets rid of every card wins.
