The 52 Qard Game Series · Season 1
Crazy Eights
Match the suit or the rank; an eight changes everything.

How to deal
Deal five cards each, seven when only two play. Put the rest face down as the stock and turn its top card face up to start the discard pile.
How to play
On your turn play one card that matches the top of the discard pile by suit or by rank. An eight can be played on anything, and the player who plays it names the suit that follows. If you have no play, draw from the stock until you do.
How you win
The first player to empty their hand wins the round and scores the cards left in the other hands: fifty for each eight, ten for each face card, face value for the rest. First to the agreed total, usually a hundred, wins.
