The 52 Qard Game Series · Reserve bench
Sheng Ji · Tractor
Singles, pairs and tractors. Eighty points lifts the attackers' rank.

How to deal
Players draw cards one at a time from the shuffled double deck until a small kitty is left. Whoever first turns up a card of the current trump rank sets the trump suit for the hand; the dealer takes the kitty and discards the same number of cards.
How to play
Each player leads with a single card, a pair, or a tractor of consecutive pairs; the others must follow with the same shape in the led suit if they can. Trumps are the trump rank in every suit, the jokers, and the trump suit itself. The highest matching combination wins the trick.
How you win
The side opposing the dealer tries to capture Fives, Tens and Kings, worth five, ten and ten. Eighty points wins the hand for the attackers and advances their rank; fewer lets the dealing side advance instead. The first side to climb through every rank wins.
W.F.A. deck setup for Sheng Ji
