The 52 Qard Game Series · Season 2
Skat
Three players, two cards in the skat, one declarer against the rest.

How to deal
Deal ten cards each from the 32-card deck in bundles of three, four and three, with two cards face down in the middle as the skat.
How to play
Two players bid against the third in turn, naming game values; the highest bidder becomes the declarer and plays alone against the other two. The declarer may pick up the skat and discard two, then names the game: a suit as trump, grand (Jacks only as trumps) or null (no tricks at all). The player left of the dealer leads; follow suit if you can, otherwise play anything.
How you win
The declarer wins a suit or grand game by capturing more than sixty of the hundred and twenty card points, and wins a null by taking no trick at all. Won games score their value; lost games cost double. Highest total after the agreed number of deals wins.
W.F.A. deck setup for Skat
Play without the four 1s, then strip 2 through 6: 32 cards, the 07 in as the lowest card.
