The 52 Qard Game Series · Season 2
Euchre
Five cards, two Jacks that rule, three tricks to win.

How to deal
Partners sit across the table. Deal five cards each in bundles of two and three, and turn the next card face up as the proposed trump.
How to play
Each player in turn may order the dealer to pick up the turned card, making that suit trump, or pass. If all pass, the card is turned down and each player may name a different suit. The side that chooses trump are the makers. The Jack of trumps is the top card, the Jack of the same colour is second. Follow suit if you can; otherwise play anything. A maker may also go alone, their partner sitting out.
How you win
The makers need three of the five tricks. Three or four tricks score one point; all five is a march, worth two. If the makers take fewer than three they are euchred and the other side scores two. A lone hand taking all five scores four. First side to ten wins.

Play without the four 1s, then strip 2 through 6: the 32-card table, the 07 in as the lowest card. For the 24-card table set the 07s and 8s aside as well.
