How to deal

The first hand is one card each, the next two, and so on up to the largest hand the deck allows, then back down to one. After each deal the next card is turned over for trump.

How to play

Starting left of the dealer, each player bids the exact number of tricks they will take; the dealer may not bid a number that makes the bids add up to the number of tricks on offer. The player left of the dealer leads. Follow suit if you can; otherwise play any card, and a trump beats the led suit.

How you win

You score only for an exact bid: ten points plus one for each trick taken. Miss your bid, over or under, and you score nothing for the hand. Highest total after the last hand wins.
