The 52 Qard Game Series · Season 1
Spades
Bid your tricks, make your bid, and keep the bags down.

How to deal
Partners sit across the table. Deal thirteen cards each. With the two Ones in as jokers, the 2 of clubs and 2 of diamonds come out so the count still works; the big One outranks the little One, and both outrank the Ace of spades.
How to play
Each player bids the number of tricks they expect to take; a partnership's target is the two bids added together. A bid of nil is a promise to take none. The player left of the dealer leads anything but a spade; spades cannot be led until one has been played on another suit. Follow suit if you can; otherwise play any card, and a spade beats the led suit.
How you win
Make your partnership's bid and score ten points for every trick bid, plus one for each extra trick (the bags). Fall short and lose ten per trick bid. Ten bags over the course of the game cost a hundred points. A made nil scores a hundred; a broken nil loses a hundred. First partnership to five hundred wins.
W.F.A. deck setup for Spades
Play without the 1s of two suits; the other two 1s are the jokers (the Ones). 54 cards, the 07 in as the seven.
